Planting for the summer!

Class: Year 3/4C Mrs Claro Year: 2015 - 2016

After last years bumper crop, Years 3 and 4 wanted to plant ahead for the summer. Mrs Sugden showed the children how to weed the planters and prepare the soil. Then the children planted potatoes, onions and basil. I hope we are as successful in growing as the Autumn Term.

Each class took turns in planting, while the other classes explored our Wildlife Garden for animals who have made their habitat there, and we took advantageous of the good weather to practise our 'Golden Mile' running round the field.
