Visit to the Metropolitan Cathedral
On Friday 22nd January, Year 3 went to Liverpool to visit the Anglican and Metropolitan Cathedrals. We were amazed at the length of the Anglican Cathedral, and it's imposing structure and could appreciate how near the Cathedrals are to each other as the coach drove down Hope Street. As we approached the Metropolitan Cathedral, we all agreed that it was an amazing building. We were fortunate to have a guided tour of the Cathedral including the Holy Door, and the colours and lighting in the interior were truly spectacular.
The behaviour of all the children throughout the whole morning was exceptional, and again, we are very proud of the children for our school.
A big 'thank you' to Mrs Kendall, Mrs Burns, Mrs Sullivan and Mrs Murray who accompanied us - we really appreciated it.
Enjoy looking at our photographs.
