<h2>Effective Early Learning (EEL)</h2>
<p><strong>We are one of only two schools in Sefton to have achieved this!</strong></p>
<p>We were approached by the Centre for Research in Effective Learning as a research partner. This also involved filming our teaching delivery - autographs will be handed out on request!</p>
<h2>Basic Skills Quality Mark</h2>
<p>This year we are looking to renew this award.</p>

<p>This is in recognition of our commitment and dedication to the Every Child Matters and Standards Agenda.</p>
<h2>Sefton Fast Start Right Group</h2>
<p>This is a pre-school family learning group working in partnership our families and community. There is always a lively atmosphere on a Thursday morning and parents and carers with children and babies under the age of 3 are encouraged to join in an exciting variety of activities and gossip!</p>
<h2>Sefton Healthy Schools </h2>
<p>The school is part of the 'Sefton Healthy Schools Scheme'. </p>
<p>We continually look for new ways to encourage our children (and staff) in healthy eating. A recent development was the introduction of smoothies at playtime. Our partner, Vonnie's Smoothies was overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response - we had a record number of orders for smoothies (over 230 requests) and was greatly impressed by the children's lovely manners. </p>

<p>We have achieved three standards 'Leadership Management and Co-ordination', 'Physical Activity and Health' and 'Substance Use and Misuse'.</p>
