You'll be disappointed to hear that Alf has had to delay his trip. He ate some dodgy pizza the night before he was due to leave and is now ill. It was his own fault for ordering a cheese and sawdust pizza.

Anyway, most groups were able to separate the ingredients successfully. You worked in a logical order to remove the ingredients one at a time using magnets, sieves and filter paper. Time will tell if the water will evaporate leaving behind the salt.

I was very impressed with your group work throughout the lesson. Well done Year 6!
